The vehicle is thoroughly cleaned, degreased and freed from insect residue. Attachments such as mirrors, door handles, trim strips and emblems are carefully removed.

In our climate-controlled, dust-free workshop, the film is applied bubble-free by our certified 3M wrappers and neatly folded and sealed at all edges.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between car wrapping and painting?
Car wrapping uses self-adhesive high-performance films, painting uses paint. Advantages of wrapping: Fully reversible (film can be removed), significantly faster (3-5 vs. 10-14 days), more color options (matte, satin, carbon, chrome, flip-flop), protects original paint, cheaper for special colors. Disadvantages: If damaged, an entire panel often needs replacing, slightly shorter durability (5-7 vs. 10+ years with quality paint).
What films do you use for car wrapping?
We exclusively use premium films from 3M (Series 1080/2080), Avery Dennison Supreme Wrapping Film and Hexis. These cast films are specially developed for vehicles: highly flexible for complex curves, UV-resistant, color-stable for years and with air-release adhesive for bubble-free installation. Thickness: 80-120 microns. All films are REACH-compliant and pollutant-free.
How long does a vehicle wrap last?
With high-quality films (3M, Avery Dennison, Hexis) and professional installation, a full wrap lasts 5-7 years. Durability depends on care (hand washing recommended), garage storage and sun exposure. Paint protection films (PPF) can last 10+ years. We provide a 3-year warranty on materials and workmanship.
Do I need to report car wrapping to the road traffic office?
Yes, for a full wrap with color change, the new color must be registered in the vehicle documents. The cost is approximately CHF 50 at your canton road traffic office. For partial wraps (roof, hood) or when the base color remains predominantly visible, no change is necessary. We inform you exactly what is required in your case.
Can I take my wrapped car through a car wash?
Yes, but with restrictions: We recommend car washes without rotating brushes (touchless washes or hand washing). Pressure washers should be used at least 40 cm away and not directed at edges/seams. In the first 2 weeks after wrapping, please no car wash at all so all edges can fully cure.
How much does car wrapping cost compared to painting?
A full wrap typically costs CHF 2,500-6,000 (depending on vehicle size and film), a complete respray CHF 5,000-15,000. Car wrapping is therefore often significantly cheaper, especially for special colors like matte, chrome or carbon that would be very elaborate with paint. Additional advantage: The original paint remains protected and the film can be removed when selling or returning a lease.
